So April and I have been enjoying getting to know people in our town, and it's been good language practice as well. I have come to find out however, that most people here find it very difficult to pronounce my name, and they laugh at the fact that April, is in South Asia in April (the month). We have now decided that my middle name is easier for people to pronounce, and I am now being called by my middle name- May!!! This really gives people something to laugh about. They like to say it over and over again, April and May, April and May!
Here is April, sporting some of her new clothes, while hanging out in our paddling pool! Yes we have a paddling pool. At least that's what we call it. After walking for about 2 hours the water is really refreshing on your feet and hands, and even LOOKS clean enough to drink! Before I receive any emails from the concerned public about me catching ameobic dysentry from the water, I have not drunk any water, and I don't plan on it either!
