Well this is an attempt to reinact the goings on of the past month or so. It all started early in the morning....we awoke and grabbed a taxi to the mountain airport, where we were scheduled to fly out of. We were a little skeptical of whether we would actually get to fly, since the reliability of said flight sis only 50%. Luckily they were still flying and the weather was good.

After about an hour delay we walked through security at which point they asked me if the nalgene that went through the security scanner was mine. I replied "yes", to which they proceeded to place a security tag on it and stamp it to say it had cleared security!

I know that in a lot of airports international flights don't allow liquids on the plane, but my nalgene was empty, and the level of security in this one room airport wasn't exactly high. Well anyway....they stamped my little nalgene's security tag and let me go through. We waited for a few minutes, until the flight was ready to board. once ushered outside we were surprised to see not a plane, but a helicopter!! Apparently they are hiring a new pilot for the plane, so 25 of us were flown down the mountain by helicopter!! It was pretty cool. I even managed to snag a picture of it, after they told me I wasn't allowed. (shh don't tell anyone!!)

Once we arrived in the Capital we met up with some friends for some good food at a really nice coffee shop, where I bought some great hippy looking clothes.

Ok so it's probably more unfortunate that they make me look like a hippy.
After watching the finale of American Idol, and spending the night at a friend's house we ventured over to the YMCA to meet our friends! There was a HUGE group of people from the states that came. We had some fun, and fellowship before everyone split up and traveled to different parts of the country.

Most of the people there I didn't know, but there were a few old friends I was able to meet up with. When I made my first adventure over here I came with a GREAT friend JP.

we hung out in coffee shops, and played music pretty much all summer. I was able to see the bearded wonder and his room mate yet again in the capital, and we enjoyed reminiscing about our time spent together 3 years earlier. He has since moved to the Himalayas where he likes to grow facial hair and not shower!! OK, so showering when it's 0 degrees outside is never appealing. He took special pride in rolling up balls of his beard and leaving them in places like my purse- Pretty gross.

I was also able to spend some time with April and I's new room mate, Haley. She's really fun- I think we make a cute team!
Along with seeing old and new friends, picking out nappy beard balls from my purse, getting giardia...AGAIN...singing, playing games, eating Dominoes Pizza, McDonalds, Gelato, and other fun things, we were given tonnes of fun things from AMERICA!!!!

Our friends brought....crystal light, taco seasoning, Dr Pepper, Salsa, gum, Peanut M&Ms, hot chocolate mix, muffin mixes, coffee cake mixes, brownie mixes, pudding mixes, jello, ranch dressing, peanut butter....the list goes on. I ended up carry around 20lbs of food back to our home!! THANKS!! Once we arrived back in our town, we packed up and moved to the City beautiful.

The good bye was hard and there was a lot of tears, BUT, I am trying to focus on what's ahead. Friday will count one week in my new house! I'm excited to be living in "The Four Seasons" as April calls it. Sorry I don't have pictures of our unpacked house yet. It's still a bit of a disaster! I think there is a 4inch layer of dust on the floor. Once the Four Seasons is up, running and ready for visitors, I will post pictures. It has been a busy month, but it's also been a super fun one, and now that I have an A.C I say bring on the summer!

Still impressed by the helicopter ride! And looking forward to seeing the "after" pictures of your new place!
