Our Home....

So many people have been anxiously been asking me to blog photos of our house. I know it's taken me awhile and there's a part of my that wanted the house to be clean and tidy before I started taking pictures, but then I realised that would never happen. So here you go....you walk down the steps, or the stairmaster as we like to call it, and turn the corner and the first thing you see is the balcony. Our bedroom is the first door on the right, but if you keep walking down to the last door you enter into our eating area. If you make a right from here you can see our "formal sitting area" as we like to call it. Then behind the "formal sitting area we have the "lounge area" it's basically a bedroll w/ a sheet over it!

From the front door if you turn left you end up in our kitchen, which is kind of small and narrow. If you go straight from the front door you end up infront of two doors one takes you to the shower room/water filter room/ washing room- hard core multi tasking, and the other door takes you to the toilet! Originally our Uncle told us that here they paint their houses the same colour throughout the entire place and and they use light colours! We told him we wanted an "accent wall". Well he had obviously never heard of this before, but he obligingly did as we asked. No more than two weeks after we had moved in, when I went down to their house to see how they were doing one day, I spotted it! Th had EXACTLY copied our "accent wall" idea, and used the exact same paint and colours! Pretty Funny! I don't have pictures of our bedroom yet. More to come soon!
