...Washing trauma....

Like many things on this side of the world, even simple things washing clothes can be a cultural experience. I DO have a wash machine which is great. Usually the wash machine is a great blessing, unless you don't know how to use it- like me. For starters, I put too many clothes in so the soap didn't circulate very well, so when I pulled my clothes out there was a big junk of soap clumped onto my jeans. Secondly, unlike in the states clothes aren't always stained so they don't run in the wash. In fact they're NEVER made that way. So not only did my jeans have a glob of washing powder attached to them they were stained the color of the new wrap I bought. I'll get it right next time.
