I apologise for it has been FOREVER since I last posted. I'm not even sure if anyone still checks my blog. I feel like I have been out of contact with people for a LONG time.....so to update you on everything I've been doing might take awhile.
After eating some breakfast, we packed our porters and headed out on the first day of trekking. Four hours later we arrived in Mojo- or something like that....ate, slept, woke up, ate, and left again.....I have to say this process was repeated for the next 13 or so days.....I won't bore you with details,

but we had a great time trekking through snow, making way on the trail for Yaks, being munched on by horses, and coming up with cool things that we could do once we arrived at Base camp. On day 9 we finally reached basecamp- the pile of rocks was somewhat unimpressive, however the view of the glacier along the way was pretty amazing. Once we took some pictures we turned around and started heading back....four days later we were back in lukla, waiting for the lawn mower with wings to take us back down the mountain to Katmandu.
A fun time was had by all, and I think after not showering, we were all pretty excited about washing the dirt off our bodies. Once back in Katmandu, I relaxed, and went rock climbing, ate some really good food, including some really good beef, yak and buff. I think I ate more meat on this trip than I have the whole time I've been living overseas.
It was a GREAT vacation. Once back in the capital, I caught a train to the city beautiful, then got a taxi with a bunch of people back up to our town, stayed overnight, then drove eto the hills to meet with some friends. I finally arrived back home last night, was pooped, but ready to go! Vacation was great, but there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed! I'm glad to be back.

How in the world did you get more than 5 pics on your blog. If you can respond ASAP. I am wanting to post as well and need to figure out how you did that. Impressive! I am stunned.
