We have a little neighbour girl who is 14 and loves us like sisters. One night she was at our house hanging out with here, and she asked April if she could do her make up like a South Asian Bride!
I walked in to see April's face COVERED in make up with dots and lines all over, with a dupatta on her head. The girl then asks me "Beki, can I do your make up?" to which I of course replied "YES"! I then showed her my make up (I don't wear maek up, so it was somewhat limited). The lack of make up didn't phase her one bit, she simply used lipstick for everything, lips, eyeliner, bindi, etc. By the time I was finished I looked like a real South Asian beauty. She then proceeded to show us how we were supposed to pose for pictures and how we were supposed to wear our duppattas (scarfs). 
South Asian brides are supposed to look sad and shy at their weddings, so April and I tried to look as coy as possible. It was hard, considering we both spent most of the night laughing at how eachother looked!
